If I had my way I would be a writer. In the past I have written for a Hotel & Restaurant magazine in Ireland on Technology. In the last while I was in contact with the magazine again and am hoping they will be in contact with me soon to confirm they actually want my stuff again. We had a conversation awhile back and all sounded good, however has not quite happened yet.

However I did write this for a parenting website some time back and it was entitled Have we husbands forgotten about romance?. Odd as it may sound it was kept!

I will continue to post about writing here. For work I get to write manuals, but is not quite the same thing.

04/18/2008: Well in the past few days I have been working on some stuff I am hoping to sell to a magazine in Ireland. I have also contacted a site owner here in the US about writing for them. So keeping my fingers crossed.

01/04/2009: At long last I have found the starting point for a book which I have in my head for years. I have been working on it for the last few days and my goal this year is to get this book to draft for a publisher. This way I can try out my chances and see where we go.

2009 will be the year that if I don’t sell I get rejected trying!

06/07/09 I have completed my current assignment and am now waiting for them to acknowledge that they have accepted it. Feels good to have it out there and once we know what needs to be done with it, I can get it completed and the check will be on the way.
