So Valentine’s is fast approaching, and to be honest I’m pretty excited. You know why? ‘Cause this is my first time having a date for it! I have a wonderful, caring, devilishly handsome boyfriend and we’ve already decided on what to do for the day. He’s going to come out to the ‘Nooth (it’s the new hip term for home) early in the day, I’ll make us a smack up lunch, then we’ll head to town, go get art supplies and maybe check out the National Gallery for a bit, grab a late dinner in Yamamori’s, followed by spending the rest of the night at Nimhneach. So, Japanese food and a night out at a fetish club, what more could a girl want for her Valentine’s Day?!
I’ve already brought K (the boyfriend, I’m not putting his name up on this, just an intial) home to meet Mom, she seems to approve, and I’ve told Dad about him, so he might be taking us out for lunch on my birthday. Today I went out to his parents house to meet the folks, and I think I made a good impression, even the dog likes me!

Now I just need to figure out what to get him for Valentine’s and I’ll be sorted. I’m gonna make him a heart shaped card that’s actually a little bat with it’s wings folded over it’s body to make a heart shape and possibly a comment along the lines of the zombie chat-up line.

I really do think this is the serious relationship I’ve been looking for and I couldn’t be happier right now!
