I understand that on 03/15/09 at 21:00 HRS HBO will be airing an episode of Big Love which will show publicly part of scared ceremonies performed in the Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I personally find this distasteful and do not wish to see this aired to be ridiculed or misunderstood by those who are seeing this out of context. The church has issued the following statement on this issue:
