Sometimes slapping the monkey is just too much like hard work..

So, nice hypothetical situation for ya,

You have spent alot of time filling out an important form. You’ve worked until the very wee hours of the morning to be sure you got it finished and submitted on time. 9 hours early infact.
Afterwards, you come back from what should have been a productive week of studying and getting over the localised influenza epidemic, or black lung or whatever it was/is. At a meeting, you find out that said form was not found to have been submitted….It wasnt in the inbox at all…It was sent by email, so no one could’ve nicked it, but it’s plainly just not there. They reckon it was a glitch with the system since the email account it was sent to was updated recently….You’re certain it was sent becuase there’s a copy of it in the sent items box of email account it was sent from with the time and date.

Now you have to resubmitt it….It’s simple enough to resubmitt and to include a screen shot of the original submission, highlighting the date and time to prove it was sent, but when you think about it, it’s just so much hassle you thought you’d already washed your hands of. Will this relfect badly on you in future in the eyes of the authorities you submitted it to?
Maybe it’s just my mood right now, but it is just more work to an already bursting week or stuff.

Looking to my right I can’t help but notice the option to “Post Slug”……What is that when it’s at home? Is it like the normal garden variety of slug that fizzes and melts when it comes in contact with salt?
