Back to work tomorrow

Well tomorrow we are back to work as normal. No more breaks until my birthday which thank goodness is rather close. I am currently under a mountain of laundry and trying to get the house a in order as well. Juls is sick with a cough that will not go away right now and spent most of last night coughing.

I have one of the kids down and am working on the next youngest and then the other 3. The dog is whining and wants to come in and am trying to get blankets ready for him. I am also a little ticked at him as he pee’d on the floor in the sitting room last night. Right where my daughter and youngest son sit to play.

I signed up for a movie group tonight on the meetup boards for where I live. They haveĀ  movie coming up soon and with any luck it will be one I have not seen already.

I also asked for more information on a writers group, with any luck it will be of some use. Some of the others in the past were sounding blocks for other peoples problems. Harsh as this may sound I want out of my problems and into a sold book and not into the issues other folks face with whether they can or cannot deal with whatever they have. Yes I am heartless but I want to move past that point in my life. I like to meet people I guess but do not wish to be the sounding block for misery. So here’s hoping.

WANTED ILLUSTRATOR FOR NEW WRITER. I am writing a children’s book and need an illustrator I can work with. You interested Lyida? Perhaps a deal can be worked out for us? Prefer to pay you then someone I don’t know at this time.

New years resolutions

I’d been thinking of a bunch of these that were actually pretty good. But of course being me I didn’t put pen to paper when they hit me and now they’re gone. They might come back who knows.

Goals for the year;

1) Go goth clubbing in Camden before it all closes down
2) Pass my burlesque audition at the end of the month with flying colours and be in an actual show
3) Organise a succesful battle of the bands for the Amnesty Soc this semester
4) Get a volunteer placement for a year with an art therapist to get the clinical experience I need
5) Get the bulk of my porfolio done
6) Be in serious relationship
7) Work on my stage fright
8) Try and live more for now rather than leaving everything for later
9) Learn how to bullet point things on this blog
